What it does

yu2bias will summarize Youtube videos, analyze bias, and provide video counterpoints for YouTube videos. Uses ChatGPT4o-mini, and Google custom search.

How To Use:

Add the extension to your Chrome browser.

Works on almost all Chrome based browsers. Arc browser on Mac doesn't work currently.

Navigate to a YouTube video you want to summarize or analyze.

Open transcript

Click the Extension Icon

Choose options

Extension will query ChatGPT 4o-mini for a summary, bias analysis, fact check and custom instructions if requested

Google is queried for suitable counterpoint videos.

Google's counterpoint query doesn't always work well.

Up to 1000 comments can be summarized.

The summary and analysis are displayed in a new tab.

Privacy Notice: Your privacy is important to us. This extension does not track your browsing activity or collect any personal information. All video analyses are processed securely via AWS Lambda servers. No data is collected or stored. I may in the future start to collect analytics for the purpose of improving this extension and will notify users when and if.
